My Story
Christian Laurian first began working at the age of 5. A child prodigy on piano, he has spent over 20 years performing alongside individuals such as Sarah McLachlan, The Tenors, Brett Kissel, Oscar Lopez, and William Joseph; in addition to being featured on Oprah Winfrey’s website and Canada’s Got Talent. For the past 7 years, he has focused on teaching music to a wide array of students, ranging from preschoolers to seniors.
Beyond his time as a pianist, Christian has also worked as an actor in film & television, a caregiver, dancer, bookstore clerk, restaurant server, delivery driver, dog walker, and now, an author. He graduated from Capilano University in 2026 with a degree in the arts.
A voracious reader and writer his whole life, Christian is set to make his debut with the thriller novel DAHLIA. The story draws direct and indirect inspiration from feminine rage, Gone Girl + Carrie, and the ocean. Streaked with dark humour, beauty, horror, and heartbreak, DAHLIA promises only one thing: you will not forget her.
